It's not everyday that you see 4 successful Black

women together, on their offnight, at a basketball game between the New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks:

(from left to right: Jessica White, Kimora Lee Simmons, Tyra Banks, and Beyonce Knowles)

It's interesting and neat to me that you have a model, a creative director (Kimora, who is of Korean, Japanese and African American descent), a model and talkshow host, and a singer and actress all sitting together, representing all that you could be in the world, and jobs that only decades ago weren't open to people of color.
  • Jessica White has been in Sports Illustrated and the John Legend video "So High"
  • Kimora Lee Simmons is a former model who is the Creative Director for Baby Phat, a clothing line, and Simmons Jewerly Company and in involved with the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.
  • Tyra Banks is a former model, current talk show host and businesswoman head of Bankable Productions. She create the TZONE Foundation to help self esteem issues with young girls.
  • Beyonce Knowles is the international superstar, winner of 9 Grammys, nominated for Golden Globe for her actig performance in Dreamgirls. In the wake of the Hurricane Katrina, she and her family created the Survivor Foundation to aid the people who were in need.
