Whenever one compares the original to a remake (or even a snippet of a remake), usually the original wins. Do you agree in this case? Beyonce performed "He Loves Me" at a recent Sydney, Australia concert.
That song was originally written and performed by Jill Scott.

Jill Scott wins! Beyonce has the technical ability but ultimately lacks the emotional depth that makes this song come alive. Plus, she's just copying Jills technique. Ugh, I'm so sick of these mediocre performers that think just cuz their weave is straight and they can dance..that it makes them a true artist.
i agree, i think jill the originator wins hands down. she has a certain emotional maturity that not many in the r&b world can touch.

Jill's emotion is just more tangible than Beyonce's. It almost doesn't sound right coming out of Bey's mouth.
Jill hands down -- agree that Beyonce's just doesn't sound right.. Jill has a certain graceful delivery and EMOTION that you just can't teach or try to duplicate.
Jill Scott has that SOMETHING EXTRA that B. doesn't have on this one.
