You know who Amy Winehouse reminds me of?

Illeana Douglas.

"Who?" some might say.

And I should clarify, its not so much Illeana the person(who was also in "To Die For" as Matt Dillon's crazy ice skating loving sister) that Amy reminds me of.

Illena did a movie called "Grace of My Heart", which was about a white 60s girl group singer that is trying to make it. As Denise Waverly, Illena comes across as Amyish, but perhaps I'm bias cause I really like Amy and I really like this movie.

'Valerie': Winehouse vs Zutrons

Which do you prefer & why?

vs

I'm not just interested in who sang it better, I'm curious about "why" as well.

Hit the comment box (please) and tell me why you like the version you picked.

Background: The Zutrons originally released this original song in Summer 2006 and Amy Winehouse began covering it in concerts last year.

Her version wasn't put on CD until recently, contributing a version of it (with band, and with a special appearance on tamborine and handclaps by The Roots drummer Ahmir '?uestlove' Thompson).
