The late Ed Bradley, Cartoon Network’s “Boondocks” win Peabody Awards April 4, 2007
The Peabody Awards celebrates and awards for broadcasting excellence. The awards will be handed out at a June 4 ceremony in New York.
Bradley won for his 60 Minutes story about the Duke University rape case. HBO won for Spike Lee’s documentary “When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts”. And for the first time, the Cartoon Network won for the “Return of the King” episode of “Boondocks”.
